After spending years teaching writing to music students, I’ve picked up on the trends, both in what our students are struggling with, and where our pedagogy needs refining when it comes to writing. I offer a range of consulting services, from single sessions where we can look at your syllabus or an assignment prompt, to a full, on-site miniature writing lab in your music department for up to a week, with services available to faculty and students. I can provide workshops, in-class lectures on writing topics, and one-on-one meetings with students and faculty to tackle individual questions.
I offer a variety of workshops that can be tailored to meet your needs. Workshops are offered in single sessions online or you can choose a daily package (online or in-person) that includes two workshops plus three hours of individual sessions for students or faculty. A list of available workshops is below, organized by their intended audience; however, the list is always growing and the intended audiences are not meant to be restrictive. If you think something listed for faculty could be beneficial to your students, let me know and I’ll prepare accordingly. If you have a need that’s not being met by a workshop currently listed, I can create something perfect for your students and faculty.
